I have been a special education director for 9 years. I have a Master degree in Special Education from the University of Southern Maine. I have been working in Special Education for over 20 years.

Special Education is my passion. I sat at IEP meetings as a parent when my son was in school. I knew nothing then.  I worked as an educational technician in the Sanford schools at the beginning of my career. I decided I could help students and parents by becoming a special education teacher and later a director.

I love working with SAD55. We have a great community and staff that really put the student first. Our team works to suport students to help them become more independent learners who are contributing members to society.
