Character Counts!

This curriculum is from the Josephson Institute of Ethic.  Good character in young children is a necessity to meeting life's challenges.  S.A.D. #55 is implementing the curriculum Character Counts!  Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship are the Six Pillars of character.
We are gaining common vocabulary and the students are beginning to take ownership of the things they are responsible for.  Our goal is to assist in developing positive character traits that will help them be clear and effective communicators in charge of their learning.  The children are doing a great job learning about and using these character traits.  Ask your child if they can name the Six Pillars.î
