Minutes

Members present:  Johnna S., Kim F., Valerie D, Dianna O.

The Fall Magazine fundraiser was discussed.  A date needs to be chosen.  We discussed meeting again with the rep. from the company.  We are using a new company in order to avoid the problems we had with the last company.  Candy bars will not be used as prizes.  Many fun incentives will be used to get more students to participate in the sale.  Online sales are encouraged.  

Buy a brownie fundraiser was discussed.  Valerie will look into this.

A Scrapbook Day was mentioned.  Several people have showed an interest in doing this again.  No date has been set at this time.

Participation in PTC was discussed.  A flyer will go out for the next meeting.  We need more participation from parents and teachers in order to hold more events and raise more money for the school.

Ice Cream Social was discussed.  We need to find out when the Library Book Fair will be held.  It is the best time to hold the social since parents and students can attend the Fair and the Social on the same night.  We will try to get donations for ice cream and toppings.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, October 1 at 7:00pm in the South Hiram Elementary Library.   Please note that this is a change in location from last year.
