PTC Minutes

Attendees: Kim Fenderson, Allison Stacey, Angie Berube-Gray, and Suzanne Day

*Genevieve's - Angie met with the company representative today and signed a contract. The brochures will be here on 8/26. The assembly will be on September 8th.

*Field Day is on May 28th. Kim will deliver the t-shirts on Wednesday to be given to the students on Friday morning. We will pay for the sunscreen. We discussed permission for sunscreen and insect repellant.

*Kindergarten trip to Children's Museum -- The PTC will sponsor $5 per child, so families only have to pay $1.

*First Grade trip to Maine Wildlife Park -- The PTC will sponsor the same as last year.

*Third Grade trip to Willowbrook will be sponsored by the PTC.

*Website -- Angie will work on updating pages by using a google website, but the main page will be on the district website.

*Sea Dogs Tickets -- We are trying to reschedule the night. It is an all or nothing reschedule. We either need to have families exchange tickets individually, or we need to collect all 200 tickets back. There is a problem that our school may not be able to do any special event (sing a song and walk the bases).

*Teacher Appreciation was this week and the staff was very appreciative of the breakfast, sandwiches, and yummy goodies!

*Movie Night was a large success, but we would like to continue to have it in the winter. We will do snacks at the beginning and intermission only again.

We will do a Clean Up Day on Saturday, May 15th from 8:00 - 12:00. Angie will do a flyer. We will do new sandboxes, replacing others, new mulch, new sand, etc. We will be replacing the playground tire swings. We will eat pizzas at 11:30.

*In the fall at the Open House, we will do a spaghetti supper and we will ask families to bring appetizers and desserts. The PTC will have a booth.

*We discussed changing the night of the meetings next year. We discussed keeping it at 6 pm, but moving it to Tuesday nights.

*We pay our school scholarships in November. We take the checks to the guidance office and we give two scholarships for $250 each.

*We will try to advertise more in the Sacopee News in the Shopping Guide.
